Branching Out v1.0
Many firsts, for this project. First lace, first scarf, first alpaca knit. I really enjoyed this project – the last time I attempted this pattern I was still quite unexperienced as a knitter, and I suppose it was a bit ambitious. I am very proud of myself for taking this on again, and it was lovely to knit a pattern that I really wanted to knit for a change.
Pattern: Branching Out from Knitty
Yarn: Artesano Alpaca “Inca Cloud” in Olive
Pros: Beautiful to knit with, lovely muted colour, pattern was easy to learn and flowed really easily after the first few repetitions.
Cons: Can’t really think of any!

Bea-UTIFUL, beautiful, beautiful! Oh how I love Branching Out =) I bought some beautiful yarn off Etsy which I think will be perfect for having a go at making a Branching Out one day! I sense more tantrums in the near future =P
I love the colour!

Lovely! I have been looking for something like this for my first lace project too. And how lovely is alpaca to knit? I am a total convert to it’s lovely soft loftiness. Congrats – it is a beautiful project!

Your “Branching Out” turned out so very pretty – what a great job you did with knitting it up! I really love that pattern and mind you, it’s very high up on my “Have to knit” list as well! Beautiful color too!
